Solveig Horne, founder of Solmimosa, has more than 20 years of experience from living and traveling in Provence.
The green part of Provence has a fertile landscape and invites to enjoy life. The idyllic old town of Bormes les Mimosa has been an inspiration to explore the small and cozy villages in the area. The ambition is to recreate the good feeling and experiences, so that more people can get a taste of Provence.

Solmimosa is a newly established company that imports wine from Provence in France. By establishing the company Solmimosa, we want the wine, food, culture, landscape and atmosphere in Provence to be experienced by more people.
Life in rosé

In the south of France, life is rosy.
Nowhere else in the world is as much rosé wine produced as in Provence.
In this region the vineyards are beautifully situated, surrounded by charming brick houses, lavender bushes and row after row of vines.
Provence / Coteaux Varois
The Coteaux Varois wine region has a typical Provencal landscape with small sleepy villages, large pine forests and vineyards in reddish clay soil. The district produces high quality wine. Within the geographical area of Coteaux Varois that we represent, we work exclusively with outstanding producers.
The wines from Coteaux Varois are very pleasant and strongly reminiscent of wines from the Cotes de Provence.
Our portfolio is the result of careful selection and high quality requirements. The producers are hand-picked, and represent some of the best in this region. The desire to find unknown wine of high quality, character and with a regional identity, is what has inspired us.
Our wines come from suppliers who have long traditions in the area. They have a passion for wine production that has led to acclaimed awards. We are proud to present them on the Norwegian market.
